LAC’s Kampong Cham office was re-opened on January 1, 2010. Kampong Cham is the fourth largest province in Cambodia and is easily accessible from Phnom Penh by the  Route 7. The province consists of 16 districts.  Kampong Cham is situated along the Mekong River and is a busy river port. LAC maintains excellent relations with provincial authorities in Kampong Cham including police, court and prison officials making working there meaningful and rewarding. The Kampong Cham office provides legal representation to women in conflict with the law. The Kampong Cham office covers three provinces, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom and Prey Veng. The main objective of having the office in Kampong Cham is to ensure that women in conflict with the law in the three target provinces receive proper and prompt legal representation in the court.
